Planting Knowledge Within The Youth

Leaves to Leaders is a program that teaches and cultivates life sustaining skill that plants potential in today’s youth for a future harvest. Our children participate in mind developing demonstrations that teach different aspects of S.T.E.M. combining horticulture and business. These M.D.D.'s educate them in landscaping, composting, aquaponics, carpentry and gardening. They also learn life skills such as leadership, job/business management, team work, financial planning, problem solving, and equipment usage/safety. Most importantly, we incorporate and teach them the health benefits, proper care and season for the various types of plants and herbs in which they will be working with. Our overall goal at Leaves to Leaders is to provide a program in which young children have an opportunity to obtain knowledge and skills that will help to orientate their life as well as utilize them in real world instances.
